At the present time, Sunrise Company is developing four golf course-oriented, master-planned communities and one non-golf community as described below:
Toscana Country Club is a private gated community in
Indian Wells, California. Construction at Toscana began in
September of 2003. Upon completion, it will include 573
single-family detached homes and 44 custom home sites.
Prices range from $1.3 Million to more than $2.4 million.
The community will feature 36 holes of Jack Nicklaus
Signature Golf, a 90,000 square foot Club Villa with
gourmet dining, ladies' and gentlemen's locker room, golf
shop, sportsclub and spa. Toscana will offer 550 equity golf
memberships with Initiation Deposits starting at $150,000.
The Model Homes, Sales and Design Center opened in November
of 2004 and the Jack Nicklaus Signature South Course opened
December of 2004. The Golf Shop, Il Forno Trattoria and
Men's and Ladies' Locker room opened in November of 2005 and
the first nine holes of the Jack Nicklaus Signature North
Course opened in December of 2005. To date over 300homes
have been sold. The Garden of the Gods Club is a private club and residential community in Colorado Springs, Colorado with approximately 525 current residences and 2,000 members. The Club features a 27-hole championship golf course, 43,000 square foot main clubhouse, 88 room resort, a 21,000 square foot golf clubhouse and sports club and a 7,850 sq. ft. recreation center. There are approximately 290 acres of remaining residential land to be developed and Sunrise currently plans to build approximately 500 additional homes ranging in size from 1,650 to over 5,400 square feet. Ironbridge Golf Club and Mountain Community is a private club and community located just outside Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Construction on the 553-acre community began in 2004 and will include over 300 homes. Along with an 18-hole championship golf course, Ironbridge will offer an array of exciting amenities including a community Recreation Area, a golf clubhouse, private fishing in the Roaring Fork River, two trophy fishing ponds and over four miles of hiking and biking paths. is a vibrant 5,300-acre planned community in San Diego County, California that combines the best of old-style neighborhoods, innovative community design, pedestrian parks, an extensive network of trails, paseos, and promenade streets with a unique Towne Center. Since opening in 1999, Otay Ranch has been San Diego County’s top selling master planned community, quarter after quarter.As one of four select guest builders, Sunrise will build 1,000 homes, community recreation facilities and develop two large neighborhood shopping centers through the completion of Otay Ranch. Sunrise is currently developing Terraza, an intimate community of 85 three-story homes ranging from 2,508 to 2,833 square feet. Located inside the peaceful community of Montecito Ridge in Otay Ranch, residents of Terraza will be just minutes away from schools, parks, an extensive trail system, swim clubs, shops and services and medical facilities. Sunrise Company recently completed two golf course-oriented, master-planned communities in Las Vegas, Nevada as described below:
Siena,
a private, guard-gated community, is located
on 667 acres in Las Vegas, Nevada. An age-qualified,
active-adult community, Siena will encompass approximately
2,000 single-family homes upon completion, ranging in price
from the $200,000s to over $900,000. Siena’s amenities
include one 18-hole championship golf course, a 71,000
square-foot recreation complex including a fitness center,
golf shop and grille, as well as a Village Community
Center. The 15,900 square-foot Health & Fitness Center,
opened in December 2000 and includes four lighted tennis
courts, an indoor lap swimming pool and spa, outdoor resort
pool, full-service salon and day spa, wellness center
staffed by Summerlin Hospital and state-of-the-art fitness
equipment. The 13,500 square-foot Golf Clubhouse opened in
July 2002 and features the Siena Bistro and a Golf Shop.
The 39,000 square-foot Community Center opened in October of
2003 and features a grand ballroom, computer labs,
billiards, arts & crafts spaces, sewing, music and card
rooms. The golf course, designed by Schmidt-Curley of
Scottsdale, is a daily fee course, while the Fitness Center
and related amenities will be for the exclusive use of Siena
residents. Construction of the community began in March
1999. The first homes were occupied in November 1999 and
the golf course opened for play in January 2000. Since the
grand opening in June 1999, all 2000 homes have been sold.
